It’s been about two weeks since over two hundred ladies gathered on campus to lean in to learning about God’s best for them in every area of life. Our Rooted & Established Workshop was, by all accounts, a beautiful success. Check out some of this feedback we’ve gotten!
So, as you can see: it was definitely a hit! We were so encouraged by the responses and enjoyed the whole workshop so very much. What a joy and blessing it was to lean in together and to listen for God’s voice:
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. ' [Zephaniah 3:17]
If you are looking for resources to carry on learning and leaning in, you can still visit our custom page that includes links to books & podcasts and free downloads featuring workshop content!
You can also re-watch keynote sessions and two breakout sessions online (thank you, Grace creative+production teams!) and just for fun, check out our glorious recap video below to get a sweet taste of the workshop!
Holy Week
Many churches follow the liturgical church calendar — a rhythm and pattern of worship centered around the historic celebrations of the Christian faith. And while our church takes a more modern, western approach to worship, we can still benefit and learn from the ancient traditions of the global church!
Last year we offered a daily reading / audio during Holy Week. We aren’t going to re-invent the wheel and so we offer this link for your consideration! Learn a bit more about each day in this Holy Week and prepare your heart for our Easter celebrations:
For reflection…
Lenten Sonnet XXXII by Andrew Peterson
O come, let us make music to the Lord;
His salvation is strong--let us rejoice.
Let us come before him in one accord,
Singing joyful psalms with a thankful voice.
For the Lord is a great God, a great King
Above all gods. In his hand are the deeps
Of the earth; the heights are in his keeping.
He owns the sea. He made it. And the sweeps
Of dry land? He crafted every acre.
O come, let us worship him and fall down,
And bow low before the Lord our Maker.
For he is our God and we are his own,
The people of his wide green pastureland,
Grazing sheep in the safety of his hand.
We’ll be back in your inboxes next month with some save the dates and some inspiration for ways you can stay connected — with one another and with Jesus! — as we move into a new season.
Grace and peace be yours, sisters!
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend, but I’m so thankful for all the access I get through the after posts and information given by the women of GBC 🙏🏼🙌🏼 that I can get the takeaways and still feel part of it. 💞
Thank you for sending these emails of spiritual encouragement. The workshop was so well organized, authentic, and relevant to women’s needs. More importantly it was spirit-filled with Gods presence. Thank you to the entire team for giving of yourselves to create that weekend.
